Intro

Derived from "HUNGRY・URBAN・HOMME," shuttling through the streets and alleys of the city, passionate about sharing urban life through the lens of food.

Fond of photography and with a special love for cuisine, presenting reviews from a young generation's perspective.
Established in 2019, HUHGRY initially sought to document each savored dish. Through the platform of Instagram, it effortlessly conveyed sentiments towards cherished flavorsome experiences.
In 2022, HUHGRY underwent a revamp, focusing on post formatting and optimization, aiming to present food in a column-style format and infuse design into the culinary culture.
In 2023, HUHGRY.com was officially established, with the addition of TikTok and YouTube.

Pain Point

  1. When users search for food information, they often struggle to quickly find relevant restaurant details. For example, when they discover a restaurant they like, it's difficult to obtain all the information they want, such as menu pricing or the taste of each dish, from a single article.

  2. Most blogging platforms, images and text are separate, making it challenging to identify which dish is being discussed while reading.

CloudBar's architectural design was relatively complex. In the early stages of the startup, web design was handled by frontend engineers who adjusted the design based on requests from project managers. However, little consideration was given to the user's logical operations and experience, resulting in an imperfect design that often generated error messages during use.

Taking over this project was somewhat chaotic, as many functions were stuck in the architectural phase. Even though it was known that the current design could confuse users, compromises had to be made due to backend design issues. Additionally, the project was affected by personnel changes, as there was initially no project manager to coordinate the project's progress, causing a delay in development. After prioritizing CloudBar's design and securing the necessary human resources, development began.

Goal

  1. ​Present information in a column-style format, consolidating all details on the same screen.
    Provide more intuitive visuals and make restaurant menu and information more transparent.

  2. Incorporate videos to showcase the restaurant's ambiance and dishes from different angles.

  3. Maintain impartial reviews and provide honest assessments of the dishes.
    Collaborate between posts and short videos, distributing content across multiple platforms like huhgry.com, IG Post, Reels/TikTok to increase exposure.
